The Parliament of Georgia elected today Georgian Dream lawmaker Kakhaber (Kakha) Kuchava, 41, as its new speaker with 86 votes in favor and 6 against, TASS reports.

It should be reminded that the 6-month boycott has ended in Georgia. Opposition members entered the parliament, which provoked a protest by civil activists. The oppositionists had to enter the parliament chanting the protesters. The demonstrators chanted “slaves” and “shameless” at the opposition deputies.
