The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on the initiative of the Armenian side, kremlin.ru informed. The situation around Nagorno Karabakh was discussed. It was noted with satisfaction that due to the efforts of Russian peacekeepers, the situation in the region remains stable and calm. The sides exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the energy sector. Nikol Pashinyan informed about the development of the internal political situation in Armenia in connection with the early parliamentary elections scheduled for June.
