Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu discussed the settlement of the situation in Nagorno Karabakh with Armenian Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan in a telephone conversation. This was reported on Wednesday by the Russian Defense Ministry, TASS informs.
“On Wednesday, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Shoygu had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Harutyunyan. The heads of the Ministries of Defense discussed the situation with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as other issues of mutual interest,” the statement said.
The conversation took place in Moscow on the eve of the talks scheduled between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
