CSTO secretary general to visit Armenia

20.12.2021 | 15:45Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Stanislav Zas is set to visit Armenia on December 22-24 to meet with the country’s top political and military leadership, according to the CSTO website.
He will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is the chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council this year. Zas is expected to brief Pashinyan the draft action plan for the implementation of the decisions of the Collective Security Council’s September session and the implementation of the priority directions of the CSTO activity during the Armenian presidency.
Zas is also scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.
Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are members of the CSTO.
