Trial of 2 Armenian POWs postponed in Azerbaijan
The farce trial of two Armenian prisoners of war was scheduled to take place today in the Court of Grave Crimes in Gandzak (Ganja). According to Azeri media, the preparatory court session was postponed because the Armenian captives were not brought to court. The next court session will be held on December 17.
It is not reported when and under what circumstances the two Armenian prisoners of war, Ishkhan Sargsyan and Vladimir Rafaelyan, were captured. Only on November 17, it was reported that Azerbaijan had initiated another fabricated criminal case against them under Article 214․2․3 (terrorism) of the country’s Criminal Code.
