The Prosecutor General’s Office has examined the legality of the property acquired by former Minister of Defense, now MP Seyran Ohanyan, his wife Ruzanna Khachatryan, their associate Jacques Fovo, former head of Serzh Sargsyan’s bodyguards Vachagan Ghazaryan, his wife, daughter and son.
As the Prosecutor General’s Office told Factor.am, they were invited to the Prosecutor’s Office to be presented with the results of the probe and offer their position. The Office, however, did not detail which properties are in question.
The Prosecutor’s Office is also investigating the legality of the property of Serzh Sargsyan’s brother, Levon Sargsyan, wanted by law enforcement bodies, his daughter, son, as well as the former head of the State Property Management Department, Arman Sahakyan, who is former NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan’s son, former Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan.
Recently, the Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit with the Civil Court demanding the confiscation of the illegal property of the former Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan and his family members, but no other details are reported in this case.
