04.11.2021 | 19:04The EU has taken concrete steps this year to intensify political dialogue with all three countries in the region. The RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahe Gevorgyan stated this during the discussion of the 2022 draft state budget at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on European Integration and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
Speaking on visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU, he said: “The Foreign Ministry is conducting targeted work on this issue with EU institutions and EU member states. Of course, the coronavirus does not help finalize the arrangements for that launch. I think we also have some ‘homework’ on this issue to ensure a timely start.”
