Yerevan to host Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in November

02.11.2021 | 19:35A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Yerevan in mid-November, Prime reported, quoting Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“Along with effective bilateral cooperation, Russia and Kazakhstan have successfully joined the Eurasian Economic Union. Today we will discuss with you the preparations for the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which will be chaired by Kazakhstan in Yerevan in mid-November,” Mishustin said at a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin.
The EEU is an international economic integration association, which has been operating since January 1, 2015. The members of the union are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
