49% of Armenians do not plan to be vaccinated, 30% are not satisfied with information provided

According to a survey conducted in July, 41% of Armenians think that Armenia is generally moving in the right direction, and 34% think that it is moving in the wrong direction, while 25% of respondents did not know or refused to answer this question.

The picture is different in Yerevan compared with other urban and rural communities: only 36% of respondents in Yerevan think that Armenia is moving in the right direction, while this number stands at 44% in other urban communities and at 45% in rural communities.

People were also asked about the June 20 parliamentary elections and the Covid-19.

Thus, 63% of the respondents are satisfied with the election results, 29% are not, and 8% did not know. Regarding the content of information provided by the government on COVID-19 vaccines, 21% of respondents are fully satisfied, 38% are somewhat satisfied, 9% are somewhat dissatisfied, and 21% are not satisfied with the information provided at all.

In addition, 14% of the respondents agree that the vaccine was or will be effective for them, 38% partially agree and 27% do not agree at all; 30% of respondents said they would not be vaccinated, and 19% said they would probably not be vaccinated.

The reasons for such a decision are different: 35% are worried about side effects, 16% do not think they need it, 15% want to know more about the effectiveness of vaccines, and 10% think that vaccines do not protect us.
