01.03.2021 | 13:27During their recent telephone conversation, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the president of the Russian Federation, among other issues, also discussed the statement of the Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan on the usage of the “Iskander” system by Armenia, The spokesperson to Armenian PM Mane Gorgyan told “Armenpress”.
“Combining the available facts and data, the Prime Minister of Armenia came to the conclusion that he was not properly informed about this situation. Moreover, the Prime Minister’s statement has nothing to do with the content and quality of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in the field of military and military-industrial cooperation. There is no doubt that Russian weapons are among the best in the world. The Republic of Armenia continues to cooperate closely with the Russian Federation in the spheres of military industry, high technologies, and intends to take steps to deepen it even more,” Gevorgyan said.
