The National Security Service has launched a criminal case in connection with embezzlement of a large amount of money -149,160,000 AMD (US $30,000 million)—under a procurement contract granted by the Vayots Dzor provincial government for reconstruction of a pedestrian walkway in the city of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor province in 2015-16.

No arrests have been made so far.
