CSTO leaders discuss possible ways to respond to situation in Afghanistan

The leaders of the CSTO member states discussed possible ways to respond to the situation in Afghanistan, TASS has quoted the organization’s Secretary General Stanislav Zas as saying.
The leaders agreed to further strengthen security measures in connection with the situation in Afghanistan, he said. The promise of the Taliban to form a coalition government in Afghanistan has not been fulfilled, this is a matter of concern, he said, adding that the CSTO foreign ministers will issue a joint statement on the situation in Afghanistan, he said.
