Georgian parliament expressed confidence in the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Irakli Garibashvili with 89 votes in favor and two against, Sputnik Georgia reports. In addition to expressing confidence in the new cabinet, the Georgian parliament also expressed confidence in the government’s plan to “build a European state.”
The main priorities of the program presented by Gharibashvili are the solution to the economic crisis, the strengthening of health and state institutions. It should be reminded that on February 18th, Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia resigned. Following the resignation of the Prime Minister, the ruling Georgian Dream Party nominated former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili for the post.
