Several NGOs shut down in Belarus

23.07.2021 | 15:41Several non-governmental organizations were shut down in Belarus, DW’s Russian service writes. According to the Unified Register of Legal Entities, 12 organizations operating in Belarus are currently being liquidated. This include the “Names” charity program, Press-club, Human Constanta Human Rights Center, Living Library Center for the Development of Effective Communication, “Legal Information Center”, “Environmental Decisions” Center, “Office of European Expertise and Communications” , “Area of Law”, TimeAct and European Youth Parliament, as well as “European Dialogue” NGOs. It is reported that the decision to dissolve these organizations was made on July 22 by the Minsk City Executive Committee.
