France, US discuss joint actions to achieve lasting peace in Nagorno-Karabakh

15.07.2021 | 15:18During his July 13-14 visit to Washington, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian also discussed issues related to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, according to the official website of the French Foreign Ministry.
“I talked about our joint action as co-chairs of the Minsk Group to help achieve lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Le Drian said in his statement following the meeting with his US counterpart.
He met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as with President Biden’s National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan and held discussions with several representatives from the United States Senate.
