Armenia’s National Security Service has arrested two men suspected of extorting money from individuals through a scheme they organized in Facebook.

According to a NSS release, they set up fake Facebook accounts and pages, and posing as a charity that provides aid to the Karabakh war victims, between March and July 2021, they extorted some 4,000,000 AMD (about US $8,000) from at least Facebook users.
