9 to 10 million euros to be provided to conflict victims – European official

09.07.2021 | 18:06European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Oliver Varheliy, in a joint statement with RA Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, said that in the near future, 9-10 million euros in humanitarian aid will be provided to the victims of the conflict.
“I was of course saddened by the loss of life we have seen around Nagorno Karabakh region. In this context, we have raised 9 to 10 million euros in humanitarian aid.
This assistance will be provided to the victims of the conflict in the very near future. I want to affirm that the European Union is ready to play a very active role in the post-conflict situation, to support confidence-building measures, especially to overcome the humanitarian crisis and later as a key partner in the process of economic recovery in the crisis-affected region and also in the surrounding areas” Oliver Varheliy said.
