06.07.2021 | 14:45Artsvik Minasyan, a member of the ARF Supreme Body, spoke today about the application filed with the Constitutional Court with regard to the past parliamentary election.
He said the main idea and logic of the application is based on the evidence, according to which large-scale violations took place in the June 20 elections, distorting the real picture of the votes.
“At this moment, we can state that the ruling party tried to seize power by organizing all these violations with special intent. This is not only a matter of qualitative, but also a matter of political assessments. The large-scale complaint is also presented in these two directions. They were obliged to prevent the mentioned violations. Quite serious information will also be presented on the steps taken to distort the election results by double voting, using material resources en masse, in fact by buying votes at the government level.
“We are sure that all these are facts that are subject to proper assessment not only in the domestic system, but also in the international legal system,” Minasyan said.
