The Beirut port reconstruction project will cost $ 5 billion and create additional 50.000 jobs. This was stated by the acting Minister of Public Works and Transport of Lebanon Michel Najjar, Armenpress reports.
“The program envisages not only modernizing the port’s infrastructure to increase cargo transportation, but also expanding it eastward in the direction of Bourj Hammoud,” the minister said.
