Battalion commander arrested in connection with Nov. 16 loss of combat positions and victims

Two servicemen have been arrested under the criminal case launched by the Central Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia in connection with the November 16 Azerbaijani offensive on the military bases of Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions.
They include the acting commander of the military unit, a major, and a contractual serviceman, who are suspected of not carrying out their duties properly, that has resulted in deaths of many servicemen and loss of combat positions.
