Transparency International publishes its Government Defense Integrity Index, Armenia averages 43
The Transparency International has unveiled the Government Defense Integrity Index (GDI, formerly the Government Defense Anti-Corruption Index).
This index is the only global indicator that assesses in detail the integrity of national defense institutions and their resilience to corruption. It assesses the countries under review by analyzing the situation in five main areas: political, financial, personnel management, operations and procurement.
The 2020 edition includes data from 86 countries, details of which are available at https://ti-defence.org/gdi. Armenia (published December 9, 2020) averaged 43, ranking it in Band D as a country with high corruption risks and low institutional resistance to corruption.
