Talking to the reservists the defense minister urged them to do their best to make effective use of the three-month training period, Ministry of Defense said. Minister Arshak Karapetyan urged to respect the commanders and unconditionally carry out their orders. He stressed that everything will be done to make sure that the participants of the training are fully involved in the daily combat training of the military unit, adding that the government will do everything possible to take care of the participants’ welfare issues.

Minister Karapetyan visited the field kitchen to check the quality of the food, personally tasting the dishes served. He visited the village settlement, observed the living conditions of the training participants, instructed the command staff to do their best to ensure quality food and proper accommodation conditions. He then visited the newly created Special Corps, and introduced the newly appointed commander, Maj. Gen. Artak Budaghyan. He praised Maj. Gen. Budaghyan’s contribution to the army building, to the defense of the Homeland, and stressed that the personnel of the military unit must always be ready to fulfill the tasks set before it.
