Georgia has become the world leader in the rate of spread of the coronavirus, according to The New York Times.
“This is the worst-case scenario considered by the Ministry of Health. The bed stock is limited to 8,000; there are practically no empty beds left,” said Georgian Health Minister Ykaterina Tikaradze. The country’s authorities are considering several scenarios for further actions. After Georgia, the countries with the highest rate of coronavirus are Luxembourg, Montenegro and Serbia.
