No more preferential in Armenia: Nikol Pashinyan’s interview to Le Monde

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave an interview to French “Le Monde” Journal during his visit to France. “Armenpress” informs that Nikol Pashinyan had noted during his interview that after his stepping into power there are no more preferential and privileges in Armenia anymore and that they are fiercely battling against shadow economy and corruption.
-What were you able to change in Armenia four months after stepping into power?
-Press is freer today that is has even been. For the first time in the history of the third Republic preferential and privileges do not exist. We are fiercely battling against corruption and shadow economy. There are no more economic monopolies. On September 23 Yerevan will choose its mayor and it will become the freest in the history. Unlike other revolutions, at least those that I know of, our Revolution didn’t result economy decline. Quite the opposite, indicators are positive, the capital is returning to the country, real estate prices are increasing and deposits are rising in banks. We succeeded in creating a democratic governing system.
-Your Parliament elected you under your pressure, but members of the Parliament that have been elected under the power of Serzh Sargsyan continue to make the majority there. Is that acceptable?
-When the Parliament was electing me as a Prime Minister, I could only count on four votes, including my own. This Parliament is a black spot in our political reality, but we have to observe the situation in its balance. 20 days after my election the Parliament voted in favor of the Government plan, where the necessity of snap elections was also included.
