Azerbaijani official injured in mine explosion in Aghdam

03.03.2021 | 17:45Another case of mine explosion took place in the occupied territories of Artsakh. According to local media, on March 3rd, at around 15:00, the Aghdam (Akna) District Prosecutor’s Office received information that Hafiz Azimzade was injured as a result of a mine explosion in the village of Novruzlu in Aghdam. During the investigation, it was found out that Azimzade, the head of the Aghdam Regional Department of Mechanical Irrigation, was seriously injured by a mine explosion. His right leg was amputated up to his knee. The investigation of the case continues.
