At 4:25 p.m. on December 9, Azerbaijani troops again opened intense fire from different caliber firearms at Armenian military positions located in the Gegharkunik region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

It added that the Armenian military opened retaliatory fire and that the shooting was still in progress as of 5 p.m.
