Government extends monetary assistance to certain residents of Shurnikh and Vorotan villages

The government has amended its precious decree on providing assistance to those who have lost their property registered and or living in the villages of Shurnukk and Vorotan in Syunik province.
As the assistance program is over for a number of such residents of Shurnukh and Vorotan but problems have not been solved yet, under the amendments, they will continue to be paid AMD 68,000 (about US $40) for five more months.
In addition, AMD 300,000 (about US $650) will be paid to any child born after July 1, 2021, whose parents meet certain requirements.
