EU official praises Russia’s role in ending Armenian-Azerbaijani hostilities, Russian news agency says

19.11.2021 | 19:07The OSCE is working very closely with Russia to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde said at a joint news conference in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to a TASS report.
She praised Russia’s role in achieving the ceasefire, in particular, the country’s mediation efforts in ending hostilities on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border this week, and she thanked Russia for reaching a peace agreement last year that ended hostilities.
On November 16, Azerbaijani military forces launched an offensive against Armenia.
