He said as long as these issues exist, the international community views it as a source of tension; it expects the parties to discuss the issue, find solutions and put it on track, and they accept and understand that message of the international community. He said that in order to close the issue once and for all, the international community calls for starting the process of delimitation and demarcation.
“No matter how much I was criticized at the time, I am going to sign the document on the table. The process was disrupted due to internal political noise. Twice after that there were offers to start and we agreed to start the process. There is no secret there,” Pashinyan said, adding that the government’s program emphasizes the possibility of “demarcation” and delimitation.
“I consider the delimitation and demarcation process critical. Back in May, and after that, Russia made a proposal three times, all three times we agreed to move forward with that process. In my opinion, the process has not started due to the delay of the process by Azerbaijan or not giving a concrete answer,” he said.
