Iranian president says border changes in region unacceptable

Iran welcomes the Russian initiative to resolve the situation in the South Caucasus and stated that changing the borders of the countries in the region is unacceptable, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has told Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation, TASS reported.
“The President of Iran welcomed Russia’s initiative to establish peace and stability in the Caucasus. Any change in geopolitics or a change in the borders of the countries of the region is unacceptable,” he said.
