05.11.2021 | 13:21At a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, the presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko approved all 28 union programs and signed the corresponding document, broadcast by RBC.
As Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin specified, the union programs cover the macroeconomic, industrial and agricultural policies of the states. “With regard to energy, we are starting to gradually form the united markets for oil, gas and electricity,” added the head of the Russian government.
According to the Belarusian president, a lot of criticism was heard against the authorities before the signing of the document. “Everyone here criticized us, they expected, especially in Russia, separate Telegram channels, whether we will sign with you or not,” he said.
In addition, Lukashenka proposed to create a media holding of the Union State. “I think that we need to carry out a serious reform here. We could create a media holding of the Union State. And that money, albeit small, should not be smeared over existing newspapers, magazines, Telegram channels and other YouTube, but, having gathered it into a fist, for the same money, create an appropriate group, media holding and talk about what is happening,” the president said.
