The European Union supports the work of WHO in 6 Eastern Partnership countries, including Armenia, by providing €40 million in assistance. The aim of the program is to ensure the effective and safe implementation of the vaccine against COVID-19, to complement regional initiatives aimed at strengthening national health systems.

Within the framework of the assistance, WHO will assist Armenia in all stages of the vaccination process against COVID-19: preparation, distribution, and monitoring.
