Azeri troops fire in air near Taghavard village, Armenian units open fire in response

Azerbaijani troops on September 14 fired in the air near Taghavard village of Martuni province. Armenian troops fired in response, Taghavard village mayor Oleg Harutyunyan told Factor TV.
“Last night, an animal was killed when mine detonated; they also fired into the air out of fear. There were 10-15 shots. Although there are shootings here every day, they mainly shoot in the air, they do not shoot at targets,” Harutyunyan said.
As a result of the war, the Upper Taghavard section came under Azerbaijani control.
