The State Emergency Service of Artsakh’s e Ministry of Internal Affairs has made public the work carried out by the sapper groups. It says that between September 27, 2020 and August 27, 2021, the sapper groups discovered and neutralized 1,513 explosives, 59 anti-tank mines, 10 anti-infantry mines, 84 grenade launchers, 919 missiles, 3,143 rocket-propelled grenades, 2,059 anti-aircraft missiles, 9,319 artillery shells, 2,391 small-caliber ammunition, 1,411 air-bomb and PG-7 grenade launchers.
Over the past 11 months, the service’s sapper groups have cleared about 130 hectares of land, including residential, agricultural, and forest-covered areas.
