Blast at Kabul airport, no word on casualties

The Pentagon confirmed the blast, with no immediate word on casualties, ABC reported.
Western nations had warned of a possible attack on Kabul’s airport in the waning days of the massive evacuation efforts. A White House official tells ABC News President Joe Biden has been briefed on the situation.
Witness says several people appeared to have been killed or wounded in an explosion at Kabul’s airport in Afghanistan.
The U.S. embassy, based at the airport, reported that all of its personnel have been safely accounted for, according to an internal operations report obtained by ABC.
