NSS confiscates Criminal Court of Appeals computers
SOCIETY
22.07.2021 | 16:12The National Security Service agents raided today the building of the Criminal Court of Appeals and confiscated several computers. The reason, according to a Factor.am source is the criminal case initiated in the NSS over the practice of assigning cases to judges. The NSS agents have also confiscated the computer that assigns cases randomly.
When contacted, Lilit Shaboyan, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council’s media department, declined any comment, advising us to talk to the NSS, which did not answer out calls.
The staff of the Court of Appeals had no information either.
Factor.am tried to contact Court of Appeals chairman Tigran Sahakyan, but he was not available.
The NSS is expected to issue a statement.
