Real estate market growing; Number of transactions increased

In May of this year, the real estate market has shown sign of growing. Some 16,083 transactions were registered, which is by 4,576 or 39.8% more than those of the same month of the previous year.
The data for May of this year exceed the data for the same period of 2019. The difference is 127 deals. Thus, it can be said that in 2020, after the crisis year caused by the coronavirus, the real estate market began to recover.
Most of the transactions were made in Yerevan – the 29.7 % of the total, the lowest in the Vayots Dzor Province – 1.7%.
Most of the transactions were alienation transactions – 36.6% of the total, and the least – legalization transactions – 1.3%.
