Gnel Sanosyan said that a joint process of deployment of Russian soldiers is underway on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and that after a certain stage, in the near future, they will be deployed on the border. After that, the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan will withdraw from those areas, which will be followed by the negotiation process, border adjustments will be made. As for the situation in the Verin Shorzha sector, according to Gnel Sanosyan, at the moment the situation in that sector is stable, although there are regular incidents between Armenian and Azerbaijani servicemen. He also said that 81 head of cattle belonging to the residents of the region are on the Azerbaijani side. They belong to 5 families, during which some financial support has been provided, until it is clarified whether the animals will be brought back or not.
The latest incident between the Armenian and Azeri soldiers in the Verin Shorzha border area happened on July 5. One Armenian was slightly wounded,
Sanosyan also said that after the war, the use of border pastures and grasslands has become a big problem, especially after May 12, when the Azeri troops invaded the territory of Armenia.
