Russian peacekeepers have cleared about 25.000 explosive objects in Nagorno-Karabakh

Humanitarian demining personnel of the Russian peacekeeping troops continue clearing the territory of Nagorno Karabakh from explosive objects, the RF Ministry of Defense reports. In the Martakert region, the Russian sappers neutralized more than 30 artillery shells of 152 mm. In total, 1.548 hectares of land, 484 km of roads, 1.524 buildings, including 30 objects of social significance have been cleared of unexploded ordnance since November 23, 2020. 24.996 explosive objects have been found and neutralized.
The explosive objects were transported and destroyed in a specially equipped shooting range. Ammunition that cannot be evacuated is destroyed on the spot, observing all safety rules.
