Russian MFA says Russia contributed to normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan in 2021

29.12.2021 | 17:01The Russian Foreign Ministry has published the main results of the foreign policy in 2021. In the part regarding Armenia, it says that Russia has actively contributed to the normalization of the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“Russia has actively contributed to the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, including the resolution of issues such as the establishment of a bilateral commission on delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with subsequent demarcation, as well as the unblocking of economic and transport routs in the South Caucasus. On December 10, the 3 + 3 (three Transcaucasian countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, as well as the three neighboring countries – Russia, Turkey, Iran) held a consultative regional meeting in Moscow, but without Georgia’s participation,” the report says.
