Cavusoglu says Turkey coordinates actions with Azerbaijan in its talks with Armenia

27.12.2021 | 16:07Speaking at a news conference in Ankara today, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that efforts have been made to normalize relations with Armenia since the beginning of the year, according to Turkish media.
“Mutual envoys have been appointed to normalize relations with Armenia. They will hold the first meeting in Moscow. It is planned to resume Yerevan-Istanbul flights in the near future,” said Cavusoglu.
He added that Turkey coordinates its actions with Azerbaijan in the dialogue with Armenia. Cavusoglu also reminded of the recent “3 + 3” meeting in Moscow. He said such meetings are significant, and Ankara is ready to accept any of them. He also added that the dialogue will be organized on a rotating basis.
Armenian National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan has been appointed Armenia’s envoy, and former Turkish Ambassador to the US Serdar Kilic has been appointed by Turkey.
