The criminal case of Gagik Hovhannisyan and Garun Babayan, charged with high treason, has been referred to court.

According to the accusation, Hovhannisyan and Babayan conspired and committed treason in 2018 to the detriment of the territorial integrity and external security of the Republic of Armenia.

If convicted, they face 10 to 15 years in prison with or without confiscation of property.
