More assistance to be provided to Shurnukh and Vorotan residents who have lost properties

16.12.2021 | 19:16Residents of Shurnukh and Vorotan villages of Syunik province who have lost houses after some of the areas they lived in became under Azerbaijani control, will continue to get social assistance for 5 more months, according to a government decision.
They will get a one-time 300,000 AMD (about US $600) aid and 68,000 AMD (about US $140) monthly support. They have already been paid a lump sum, as well as a monthly financial support for the months of February-July 2021.
Additionally, financial support, including a lump sum of 300,000 AMD (about US $600), will be provided to children born after July 1, 2021, whose parent is an aid beneficiary.
