Ukrainian defense minister clarifies use of Bayraktars

The use of Turkish-made Bayraktar attack drones was a forced, one-time measure to destroy enemy weapons, Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov has told Ukrainian parliament, korrespondent reported.
“We do not violate the Minsk agreements, we do not attack in the zone of joint forces. If the occupying forces violate the regime of silence, kill our soldiers, we warn then through the OSCE to stop violating the agreements, the regime of silence,” he said.
Reznikov added that if this mechanism does not work, the armed forces, pursuing the right of self-defense provided for in Article 51 of the UN Charter, will use all necessary forces and means.
