The State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan has officially confirmed the information that 14 servicemen were killed in a military helicopter crash today, Azerbaijani media reported. The deputy head of the Border Guard Service said that 14 people were killed, two others — Lt. Col. Emil Jafarov and Capt. Ramin Adilov — injured.

Thirteen out of 14 victims are officers, including a colonel, a lieutenant colonel, five majors, four captains, two lieutenants, one technical staff.

A helicopter of the State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan crashed today while conducting a training flight at Garaheybat aviation military school in Khiz region.
