Armenia provides AMD 13.5 billion to Artsakh in loan

At the cabinet meeting today, a decision was passed to provide an interstate loan to the government of the Artsakh Republic as well as provided funds to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan said that this regulates the issue of allocating money to the Artsakh Republic for the month of November.
“The amount is 13.575 billion drams (about USD 28 mil.). This is the fifth such decision made every month. We have allocated 65 billion drams in total, including July,” Khachatryan said. He explained that the money will be used for paying salaries of government employees, as well as paying pensions and other social benefits. He added that part of the money will be used for supporting economic and capital programs , such as housing projects.
