More than 80% of those displaced returned to Artsakh – minister

In the post-war period, in order to support the Artsakh government and the Artsakh Armenians, the Armenian government has implemented more than 20 measures to alleviate socio-economic problems, for which about 156 billion drams (about USD 325 mil) have been allocated, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan said at the National Assembly sitting.
“According to the data provided by the Migration Service, the number of deportees from Artsakh was more than 91,000 people, but now it must be emphasized that the majority — more than 80%– have returned to Artsakh. The issues continue to be in the center of the Armenian Government’s attention,” Mkrtchyan said.
