Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emanuel Macron had a long telephone conversation, during which, among other issues, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed.

“The situation around the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict has been observed. Russia, as Vladimir Putin noted, will continue to take steps to stabilize the situation, to retrospectively implement the trilateral agreements mediated by Russia,” the Kremlin said in a statement.

Other issues on the bilateral and international agenda were discussed, including the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection.
