Twitter might be blocked in Russia

Access to Twitter in Russia may be blocked in a month if the content that the authorities consider prohibited (including child pornography) is not removed from the social network.
“The colleagues still have time to negotiate,” said Roskomnadzor.
[Company] Twitter does not adequately respond to our requests. If this continues, then in a month it will be blocked out of court,” Vadim Subbotin, deputy head of Roskomnadzor, told Interfax.
“The colleagues still have time to negotiate. During the month we will observe and make a decision during this time,” he added.
According to the official, Roskomnadzor has not yet “recorded specific steps Twitter to remove prohibited content.” If the company fulfills all the requirements, the sanctions against it will be lifted, Subbotin told TASS.
