The European Parliament resolution of 11 March 2021 on the Syrian conflict confirms Turkey’s involvement of Syrian mercenaries in the war in Artsakh. The text of the resolution particularly states that according to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, Turkey has transferred Syrian mercenaries to Nagorno Karabakh.
The European Parliament also condemns Turkey’s actions, calling them a violation of international law.
“The European Parliament strongly condemns the use of Syrian mercenaries by Turkey in the conflicts in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh,” the resolution states.
